Numerosi talenti alla ventesima edizione del Casalmaggiore International Music Festival

CASALMAGGIORE — Lunedì 4 luglio ha preso ufficialmente il via la ventesima edizione del Casalmaggiore International Music Festival, prestigioso corso di perfezionamento per strumentisti conosciuto a livello internazionale, ma anche importante rassegna di musica che anima per tre settimane la città e il territorio. Come da tradizione, i lavori sono iniziati con l’incontro di benvenuto, in Santa Chiara, da parte dell’amministrazione comunale, presente con l’assessore alla Cultura Pamela Carena, e dell’associazione organizzatrice, Amici del Casalmaggiore International Music Festival, con il suo presidente Angelo Porzani. Da loro buon lavoro e buon soggiorno a docenti e studenti. Ma l’incontro è anche un briefing su organizzazione di lezioni e concerti, di cui si è occupata il direttore artistico Anne Shih, affiancata dal direttore ‘emerito’ Taras Gabora. Dopodiché sono state fornite, in particolare dal musicologo Vittorio Rizzi, alcune indicazioni logistiche. Nel pomeriggio si è svolto il primo concerto in Santa Chiara mentre l’evento inaugurale si è tenuto in serata (all’interno del cartellone della fiera di Piazza Spagna) con protagonisti docenti e studenti, nel cortile del palazzo della Congregazione (l’ex circolo Turati): dopo l’introduzione di Porzani e il saluto del sindaco Filippo Bongiovanni, è stata proposta, davanti a una folta ed entusiasta platea, una cavalcata da Chopin a Debussy, da Schumann ad Andrew Norman e Andre Ristic.
